About Dr. Kirkendoll
Dr. Elizabeth Kirkendoll currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Academic Resource Center in the College of Fine Arts at Texas Christian University (TCU). In this role, Dr. Kirkendoll is the professional advisor for all undergraduate music majors. Additionally, Dr. Kirkendoll plans College of Fine Arts student programming to promote artistic and performance wellness, cultivate a sense of belonging, and encourage collaboration across the six units of the College. Dr. Kirkendoll takes a proactive, care-centered approach to advising where each session focuses on the individual student's goals, obstacles they may be facing, and solutions that balance support with accountability.
Above and beyond her duties in the Academic Resource Center, Dr. Kirkendoll is a foster youth advocate, serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster youth in Tarrant County. Additionally, she is collaborating with campus partners across TCU to connect former foster youth with campus resources on academic success, financial management, housing, and food insecurity.
